BeGone: An Epic Browser Based Online Shooter!

Publisher: Nplay
Genre: MMO, FPS

BeGone is an epic FPS browser based game developed by Nplay offering a blast from the past. Many shooters are being developed and so BeGone is one of those games which is continually being developed. Nplay as a game company is quite new considering they have actually published only 2 games in counting as of 2011. It seems that this company is heavily trying to succeed in browser gaming and if you have played this game before, it truly is surprising how detailed the quality of the game is. As my prediction of this company, I would guess that it will go very far with the detail of work that is going on. InvinciCar Online is another game that is developed by Nplay which provides similar graphics to BeGone. Since the graphics are the similar, I would say that the company seems to have a graphics engine, much like TQ Digital where the graphics are the same. This offers an intense gameplay which for a browser is amazing for its kind. The gameplay and graphics is really amazing considering it is a browser based game. One aspect of the game which I prefer is actually having logins to the game rather than just picking a name, it feels more like an arcade game.

So to start off, the game is actually a FPS with many typical elements from console games such as the Call of Duty series. The game started off with an old fashioned aiming meaning no aiming down sights. They have recently added the aspect of aim down sight and with much success works very well as a game. Since this game does not record your stats permanently, it could be called an arcade game as you do not sign in to any account. If this game was to have individual accounts; I predict that this game would be an extremely addictive game. You cannot distinguish a game by just graphics, but also the gameplay which makes up most of the game. BeGone offers a robust gameplay, inspired most likely by Counter Strike (Using the idea of earning money for every kill). BeGone still continues to evolve with new maps, new mechanics, better gameplay and more security. Security is important for a game, especially for shooters as many programs are used for multiple games. During my time of playing, I have so far not experienced any hackers which show this game is secure or maybe the game resides with in a browser making it very hard. Guns that are in offer are quite limited; they do need to work on varieties of guns for a long lasting appeal.

BeGone or just Gone?

As a shooter, an excellent game showing both the games mechanics as well as the graphics have much to offer. The maps are very diverse showing many modes of gameplay meaning the size of the map. Map sizes can vary from close quarters or long range. Choosing a weapon depends on what type of map you are playing. I do think that the game is a bit demanding for the specs as playing with a single core computer would be very lag orientated. For a browser game, I do not expect may people to play however, I got proved wrong time after time. In terms of both gameplay and graphics, very nice and stable, nice security and most of all an enjoyable game. So to sum up the best aspects of the game:
  • Continously being developed
  • Robust gameplay
  • Browser based
  • Excellent overall map designs
  • Next generation graphics

Amazing detail and as you can see from the screenshot, a lot of work has been done in order to improve the graphics further. I do not know exactly what the requirements are however, it seems to be demanding considering the detail shown. Map design and graphics are truly amazing, each map have their own unique place. The gun designs are something to work on, many of times it seems like I am not damaging another player at all. Aim down sights was a wise decision as they are extremely popular with the modern generation of gamers. Settings to your preference can be changed which is amazing since it is a browser based (I realise having to repeat myself). Overall this game in terms of graphics can truly match other downloaded games, I really am surprised at the detail shown.
